Next Steps

You will receive an email from the Florida Department of Health this evening. Check your spam. Open the email within 24 hours.  Follow the instructions to register.  You will need to send them a copy of your driver’s license and pay them $75.00 for your marijuana card/number.

  • You will receive a second email in 10 days to 3 weeks from the Florida Department of Health that contains your marijuana ID number.  Once you have your ID number you can then go to or contact a dispensary to obtain your marijuana medication and supplies.  

    Orders
    Today, the doctor will place your medical marijuana orders for 7 months, your order will include all the different routes you discussed at your visit.

  • To check your Orders and available messages, you may login to: cannabis registration

  • Your certificate is good for 7 months, you will need to see them at that time to renew. This process is required by the State for you to continue to purchase medical marijuana.

Start low, go slow.
You will then need to see the doctor every 7 months.  There will be a $60.00 charge for those follow-up visits.

  • You will receive your Medical Marijuana card in about a month. Take notice of the date it expires, you will have to renew it 45-30 days before it expires.
